Fastuc B&B

Bed & Breakfast in Ponte nelle Alpi in the countryside

Fastuc B&B was created because we believe in marginal, silent, and resilient places. The structure is brand new (2024) and offers three rooms with private bathrooms, a kitchen/breakfast area, and a common living room. Outside, there are three hectares of meadow and, a little further, the forest and Mount Dolada. We live in the adjacent part of the house. We have a child, a dog, and a cat. Fastuc is an opportunity for us to share the peace of our home with others and to tell those who don't know about the Bellunese area and the Dolomites, truly. We have tried to sow some hints to explore the territory in every room of Fastuc: you just have to ask. We will be happy to advise you and listen to your local impressions and experiences if you wish to share them.

Our breakfast

Coffee, tea, milk, and fruit juices. Local jams and honey (our own), homemade bread and cakes, cookies, yogurt and cereals, fresh fruit. This is the typical breakfast at Fastuc B&B. However, if you have other needs (savoury breakfast, intolerances), let us know: we will arrange it for your arrival.

You will be hosted by Alice & Paolo

Alice was born in Belluno and returned there after spending years in Milan, Urbino, Rome, and Copenhagen. She studied journalism and works in communications - she wrote a semi-serious guide about the Dolomites some time ago. Paolo is from Milan and chose Belluno for genealogical, agricultural, and somewhat random reasons after years in the city and a trip to South America. We decided to live here because we believe that decentralization, slowness, and greenery are necessary responses to the complicated present, and because we are fortunate enough to love these places. With Fastuc B&B, we want to share them.

Area countryside

Fastuc B&B is located in a strategic position: it is only a 5-minute drive from the highway exit, yet surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mount Dolada. Moreover, it is an hour away from Cortina d'Ampezzo and an hour away from Venice, as well as 20 minutes from both Belluno and Vittorio Veneto. Additionally, it is just a couple of kilometers from the Monaco-Venezia cycle path and on the Val Cantuna route of the Giro d'Italia. Furthermore, it is only a few minutes away from Lake Santa Croce, a haven for windsurfers, kitesurfers, fishermen, and sunbathers. From here, you can easily explore the best of the Dolomites, the Belluno Dolomites National Park, the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, the Cansiglio plain (San Marco's rowing forest), the gentle landscapes of Valbelluna, and the Prosecco hills. We are surrounded by nature and UNESCO wonders everywhere.
